Demonstrations
During our demonstrations the Francis Turbine is put into operation. Explanations of the technology and the history of silk weaving give an insight into the industrial world of our ancestors. During a hike along the Head Race Channel you will receive information about the Hydraulic control structures and some natural sights. Explanations of the regulation of the tributary with Side weir and sluice gates are given on arrival at the river Reuss, before the way back to the Power House is started. Guided tours last about 1 1/2 hours, whereby we are happy to adapt to your wishes.
